Since it was established, in 1971, IND.I.A. SpA has continuously expanded the wrought iron market, becoming the world’s leader for sales volume and international presence.
In the last few years every company has been committed, in order to keep up with the changing times, to broaden their horizon. The market growth due to tShe introduction of new computer technologies has made the search for new geographic and sales boundaries a necessity.
The company has experienced a continuous growth in the last ten years with an increase of thirteen times in terms of sales volume, so that it was felt the need to start establishing branches abroad.
IND.I.A. has been operating in the USA for eleven years with a subsidiary in Houston- Texas and has added, five years ago a second one in Miami- Florida.
In Europe, IND.I.A. is operating in Spain, a country where wrought iron is deeply rooted into culture, with a primary role. In France (Servian) it is effectively contributing to the increasing success of this product and in the last five years, other additional subsidiaries have been created to satisfy the growing demand of local markets: Sweden, Brazil and Croatia.
In Germany IND.I.A. has four years ago acquired a majority share of Croso Schmiedeeisen, a company established in 1711 and re-named Arteferrum Croso.
IND.I.A. also has a branch in Southern Italy that was established to give this important market the attention that it deserves.
The latest addition to this large family is Russia.
All these efforts are consciously made by IND.I.A. in order to maintain its leadership position that has been achieved in many years of successful activity, where “quality” and “customer satisfaction” have been primary goals.

OUR HISTORY
1971 Ind.i.a. was established in Schio (Vicenza) as an Snc for the production of wrought iron components.
1974 The company moves to Monte di Malo (Vicenza)
1989 Ind.i.a. changes to Srl and establishes its first commercial shared company abroad with its offices in Madrid: Ind.i.a. España.
1990 The company moves to Malo (Vicenza).
1992 Indital (Houston-Texas) is established; it is the first U.S. location with 51% ownership held by the parent company Ind.i.a. in Malo.
Seven years later, Ind.i.a opens its second U.S. location in Florida with Arteferro Miami, retaining 100% ownership.
1995 Ind.i.a France (100% Ind.i.a.) is established with its offices in Bez.
1996 Ind.i.a. opens a new company in Avellino, Arteferro Sud (80% Ind.i.a owned) for faster deliveries in Southern Italy.
1998 The company buys 67% of Arteferrum Croso’s share capital, a German competitor in the market since 1711.
1999 The decision is made to establish a new commercial company in the United States (Miami) to cover the eastern part of the country and the Caribbean market. In December, the company successfully achieves the Quality Certification ISO 9001 accredited by the German corporation TÜV.
2000 With the support of local business partners, Ind.i.a. establishes the following joint ventures: Arteferro Skandinavien (legal seat in Tullinge - Sweden) and Ind.i.a. Brasil (legal seat in São Marcos
2002 Arteferro Russia, the most recent commercial undertaking, is established and headquartered in Moscow. At the same time Ind.i.a. acquires 55% of Dohomont Arteferro d.o.o., headquartered in Gorician, Croazia
2003
At the beginning of 2003 the company obtains the Quality Certification ISO 9001:2000
(VISION). Ind.i.a. Group, whose main company is in Malo, is composed of 15 Italian and foreign
companies. All of them communicate with each other via Internet or Intranet. The Logistic Area of the
company is completely computerized and run with a Radio-frequencies System. The maintenance and
industrialisation department internally produces the automatic machine tools for the manufacturing of
wrought iron components.
The company attends about 20 international fairs every year. Some of its masterpieces can be admired in Rome (The Palace of Justice), Paris (EuroDisney) and Hollywood. Year 2003 welcomes Indital Las Vegas, Indital Houston?s branch company meant for assuring an ever better service to the West Coast of the United States.
2004 Indital has acquired new and adjacent properties totaling 60500 mq. (in 2006 the total real estate of
IND.I.A. Arteferro Group would be of 83.000 m2 of warehouses on a 180.000 m2 area) -
Also, India has expanded their ownership percentage of Dohomont Arteferro d.o.o. to eighty four
percent.
2005
Ind.i.a. is preparing to obtain the ISO 14000 certification for environmental protection certification. The
commercial objectives are and remain the primary priorities of Ind.i.a. Ind.i.a. will open new offices this
year.
Ind.I.A. boasts the fact that it has clients in 134 countries and participates in thirty five trade shows
every year. Arteferro Ukraina is established in Kiev.
2006
IND.I.A. obtains the extension of ISO 9001:2000 “Vision” quality certification and ISO 14001 environmental certification, thus confirming that the company is continuously engaging itself in maintaining the
quality and the production technology at the highest levels, while respecting the environment and the
world around us.
Arteferro Argentina is established in San Nicolas de Los Arroyos, near Buenos Aires, while Arteferro Monterrey is established in Nuevo León, Mexico. IND.I.A. shares of INDITAL HOUSTON and IND.I.A. BRASIL are increased up to 86% and 99%, Mobilforge is establish in Targoviste, Romania.
IND.I.A. can celebrate its 35th anniversary being aware that it has created an important reality not only for its field but also in the local economic scene, also thanks to the over 1.100 employees in the world belonging to IND. I.A. group.
