Hotel Andalucia brings more new Wrought Iron to the Santa Barbara landscape!

With its December 17th opening, Hotel Andalucia sets its mark on the downtown skyline as Santa Barbara’s tallest hotel!

At five stories (60 feet), which conforms to city building codes specifying the heights and styles of downtown buildings, the 97-room Hotel Andalucía opens as the first full-service luxury hotel in the historic city center. As requested, the hotel features a whitewashed facade and a red-tiled roof that is in keeping with the Andalucían architectural style required for all newly constructed buildings in Santa Barbara. The hotel interior blends classic Andalucían style with urban, American flair and highlights of precious Wrought Iron ornaments.

Interior design in the new hotel reflects that same mix of old and new: the hotel is spun into an urban translation of the opulent villas of southern Spain with decorative arches, colorful tiles and wrought iron embellishments highlighting each single space. Dramatic details of ornamental iron welcome guests into the public spaces also: a vaulted ceiling with wooden beams, onyx chandeliers and an iron railing with a grape-leaf pattern are featured in the reception area.
